Question:

Why is the light more powerful than the darkness?

This is obviously a question for those who believes in supernatural things like demons, angels and God.Why is the light more powerful than the darkness? Why isn't it reversed, or equal?

Answer:

Who ever said it was? I mean, we associate light with good, and darkness with evil. Since it's generally preferable for a society to promote good behavior, it makes sense that our mythology and folklore tends to favor the side we root for. While stories where the bad guys win exist, they're not the norm because they appeal to a much smaller audience. There's also much to be said about the idea of light and dark being necessary opposites, and therefore they are equal in power, forever balanced.
In the light of what was accomplished, I can rejoice In seeing and walking towards the light. but in darkness I battle and struggle everyday that I must stand daily against the power of darkness. And what about all of you? I sure that a few people will disagree with the statement Life Is A Battlefield between the light and darkness we have within. If we believe in good and evil, then all of you can believe in the rest. God Bless!
If light was actually more powerful than dark then the majority of the world would be selfless and free of sins, when in fact it is the opposite. When a really exciting and happy event happens you appreciate it for a (usually short) period of time, but when a tragedy occurs it can take years to get over. Some people never get over scarring events their entire lives. Also notice how no matter how great an event is, if something goes wrong it's easy for it to be completely ruined. But when a horrible event happens and then one thing goes right nobody cares. The way I see it, the darkness is more powerful BUT people themselves can overpower it by remembering the light and having faith in it. So in other words it's all about perspective.
Light is energy. Darkness is the absence of light. .
Darkness is only the absence of light... Light elumines that which was unseen to us. I do not put GOD in the same frame as demons and angels, he is the unknowable essence....
