Question:

Why is using epoxy in an application that is exposed to the sun bad idea and I should use polyester resin?

It seems as if using epoxy resin in fiberglass is not recommended if the item is exposed to the sun and that I should use a polyester resin instead. What are the reasons behind this? Will the epoxy resin made fiberglass disintegrate or something like that i.e. loose all of its bonding strength ?How long would an item last if made from epoxy if it was constantly exposed to the sun outdoor elements ?What are the reasons for using polyester resin over epoxy resin in fiberglass ?What are the reasons for not using epoxy resin in fiberglass items exposed to constant sun weather elements ?Were is another place to post this for more or better results?

Answer:

Take the batteries out of all the smoke detectors and make sure they are new and fresh. If there's still something beeping when all the batteries are out, then you obviously haven't removed the battery from all the smoke detectors. Maybe it's a smoke detector in your neighbor's apartment?
Check that you have put the batteries in the right way round
If replacing the battery doesn't stop it, replace the detector.
I know you do not want to hurt your wife but the thing about blackmailers is they almost always tell no matter what. So it is in your best interest to tell your wife that you had sex with another and take the consequences that come. That would be a real man. It seems as if you want to get caught by your wife. It really would be much better if you just tell her.
What I would do is disconnect all the smoke detectors that are beeping and remove the battery to silence it. Then contact your maintenance department and let them know you had to disable one or more of the detectors because you could not get it to reset, and it needs to be replaced. This is something they should take care of quickly, if not immediately, for your safety and their legal protection.
