Question:

Why no infra-red wave ovens?

I remember when I was young that there was an oven that will heat precooked and packaged sandwiches. It would make delicious sandwiches and emitted a reddish warm heat. What was the device? Why is it not used anymore? It cooked stuff much more deliciously than a microwave oven.

Answer:

I need to know the answer to that also!! But for now try using three or four clocks. I am living by myself for the first time and I have 3 alarm clocks, one by my bed, one across the room and one in my kitchen. It takes me a while but I eventually get up. Good luck! :~)
many metal things because they attract heat a lot
Paint everything flat black. The box and the lid. Black absorbs infrared light. The darker and less reflective the better. A reflector would be the complete wrong thing to use. You want to heat to be absorbed to make the entire box hotter. good luck to you
