Question:

Why smoke detectors respond to steam and is that not dangerous?

There are apartments built after the millenium that has sprinkler sytems; when someone in their kitchen generates steam, the smokedetectors activate making a false alarm elswhere too.My question is: does the sprinkler system responds to the smoke detector alarm by blowing water, carbondioxid or nothing in such a case?

Answer:

Hi, Yes, electrical safety gloves will keep you safe but don't forget to wear an earthing strap to avoid static electricity damaging the pc components. The max voltage from a psu is only 12 volts so unless you touch the inside on the mains current you will be perfectly safe without the gloves. I have constructed dozens of pc's and never ever had a shock from any yet!! As I believe you are in the USA your mains voltage is only 110volts anyway so that should be safer than the UK at 240v. smooth flow pipes and fittings easy flow pipes and fittings if u have three separate departments, have three distinct color letter heads, and have slogan for each keeping the name and design common
You may take it to your local Fire Dept. They may charge it for you OR Find your local Fire and Safety Supply dealer. They sometimes charge extinguishers and inspect sprinkler systems for Fire Marshalls.
