Question:

Why the hell do people make such a big deal of expensive homes and cars if they can be destroyed easily?

For example, do you remember the host of quot;Future Weaponsquot;? That guy drives a big, stupid SUV that can be totally destroyed by just one powerful hit from a high powered rifle if you shoot it in the grille, idiots marvel at those pathetic $250,000 Ferraris that can be destroyed even easier than that dumb, stupiud, worthless SUV the host of quot;Future Weaponsquot; drivesAnd people even marvel at a home that's over half a million dollars, when yet all you have to do is just shoot it up with an M16, drop just one bomb on it, just just smash it with a wrecking ball from a crane just ONCE and it's bably damaged or demolished? Also, remember that scene in quot;Judge Dreddquot; when that ashole Judge Dredd blew up a guy's expensive car with just one grenade shot from his pistol? THAT EASILY??These big, stupid, expensive houses and vehicles have absolutely NO durability if you attack them with a weaponJust one bullet from a 38 caliper totally destoys the value of a Lamborghini?

Ok.there are a couple of ways to do thisThe most logical is just to start adding1st square.1 grain 2nd.2 grains 3rd.4 grains 4th.8 grains 5th.16 grains 6th.32 7th64 8th.128 9th.256 10th.512 11th.1024 12th.2048 - 24th.8,388,608 - 64th.9,223,372,036,854,780,000 For a grand (and bank-breaking) total of18,446,744,073,709,600,001 A second, and much simpler, way to do thisEach square has 2^(n-1) grains, where n is the number of the squareTherefore, the total board has 2^64 grains, or 2 to the 64th power, or 22222.64 times, plus the original 1 grainIf you had stopped at the 24th square, you would have had 2^24 grains, plus the 1, for a total of 16,777,215 Hope this all helps.
I wish someone would destroy my big stupid truckOne less payment I'd have to make.
