Why windshield wipers want go all the way down when turned off 1998 Chevy 3/4 ton cheyanne?

Answer:

U need to buy a 1/4 tubing anyway.why not buy the refrig. water feed kit. Comes with a self tap shut-off valve so u can just put the valve in and secure by two screw and nuts. It's a self-tap needle to copper and will make the connection safe. Do it that way.I recommended. Make sure u go connect at the point of after the w/h shut off valve and not behind the shut off valve. (even if u have litte space to do it.) U should do it there.
Bad wiper motor park circuit. Replace wiper motor
Sorry, didn't see any campaigns covering wipers. Plus you would have gotten a letter in the mail if the truck is in your name. Can either be the wiper arms are loose, wiper linkage jacked up need adjusting or the wiper motor cover is bad needs replacing which has the parking mechanism located in it
Assuming you meant that the wipers do not return to the park position when you turn the switch off then you need a new wiper motor. It could be fixed other ways but not as quickly or cheaply and it may be beyond your mechanical abilities.
Depending on the size of needed water line, you may install a saddle valve as you would for an ice maker for your refrigerator. When clamped over the existing copper tubing you simply screw the valve clockwise to tap and then counter clockwise to turn the new line on.
