Question:

Why won't my cat sleep in my bed?

Is there a way to lead her to my bed, I want her to sleep in my bed.

Answer:

Cats are nocturnal so they are crazy at night and sleep during the day and who knows maybe your cat does sleep in your bed during the day. Cats are also very picky about where they sleep. For example: my cat only sleeps in the guest bedroom, my parents bedroom and on the top on the couch. If you want your cat sleeping in your room you could try putting catnip on the bed before you go to bed so the cat can get used to the bed and he/she will most likely go CRAZY over it but the cat will calm down and fall asleep.
Cats are real finicky about where they sleep. If there is a special blanket/pillow she likes to sleep on you can try moving it onto your bed and see if she'll sleep on the bed with her stuff. If there's nothing like that that she likes you'll just have to keep encouraging her to sleep there. If she likes being held you can try sitting on your bed with her and petting her until she falls asleep. Or just place her on your bed and pet her like that. Eventually she'll learn it's a safe place for her and may start sleeping there.
Be careful what you wish for. There is no bed large enough for one cat and one person. Seriously you cannot make a cat do anything. But they may or may not chose to sleep on the bed, or may even sleep tight against you. After all, your body is warmer then the bed. Several of my cats come up on the bed at night, and then proceed to pretend they are 40 pound sacks of cement. They simply don't move, and you cannot push them aside.
I would wait and see what she does. Most cats will sleep on a bed even if they don't stay there all night. That's because it's off the ground and is a comfortable place for them. Cats typically like to rotate their sleeping places so don't be surprised if your cat ends up on your bed at some point during the night.
Most cats are crepuscular by nature - which is to say are most active during dawn and dusk, which goes toward explaining the 'crazies' domestic cats experience during those times. The short answer is that cats are not nocturnal. It depends on how social the cat is. If the cat likes attention from you, the more likely the cat will sleep in your bed. I have many cats and some love to sleep in the bed with me and others don't. Short answer: Depends on the cat. I don't really know of a way to convince her to sleep in your bed.
