Question:

Why wont my windshield wipers turn on?

They won‘t come on! Ever since the temperature has been freezing and we got snow.

Answer:

check fuse first. then check to see if wiper motor is getting electricity (listen for sound of little motor noise where wipers attach to front bottom of windshield, if no sound, the motor is probably bad and not to hard to replace yourself. If sound is present the motor is working, but part or the windshield wiper linkage maybe broke or disconnected, inspect and fix or reattach. i hope this was helpful!
All contribute to backpressure. Even just the pipes. On a car that long the pipes alone would provide enough backpressure, unless you used some huge diameter pipe.
Try replacing the wiper blade motors
did you try to turn them on when they were froze to the windshield and leave them on?If you did congrats you burned out the motor in the wipers or at least blew a fuse
As said. ALL items contribute to back pressure.
