Question:

Why wont the (kitchen) supply line come free from the copper pipe fitting?

I‘ve already taken the bolt off that connects the two. One came off easily while the other is not budging. Do I just bite the bullet and use pliers risking having to buy another supply line or is there another solution?I‘m a novice plumber by the way but I put these on the last time and thought it was rather easy and now I‘m trying to replace my faucet and removing the old is a b**ch!Please help!

Answer:

No, it will work. You'll notice in a year or so that it's starts to crack and chip however. Although that is based more on your installation as well as the type of tile.
Assuming you have 1/4 inch tubing. Bite a smaller bullet and buy a tubing cutter, simply cut it out and repair it with a splice using a tubing coupler. Total cost should be under $10.00 Also use teflon tape around the threads. It makes for a tighter seal and eases removal the next time. If the connection is inaccessible for this method, try Liquid Wrench.
its cheaper tile, but lowes discontinues most tile after two years or so. hope you bought enough tile for the job(20% more than you need).
First of all I hope you bought all they had, and had them check other stores. Certainly it's not unusual for a tile selection to go out of production. OPEN STOCK doesn't promise forever. The rating # refers to durability; YOURS being quite high. 58 cents is fair. With no offense at all to Mexico; most of OUR tile is created there. Italy is another source but I think number 3 on the list. Steven Wolf miles and miles of tile
just buy the new supply ,get the braided type. did you use basin wrench on top nut?
