I have a Wii and formatted the hard drive for it and added the games to it but can figure out how to load the games on my wii I keep trying different things and nothings working so if anyone know step by step how to download and install a usb loader off my computer and put it on my sd card and install it on my wii it would help me a ton. I do have the homebrew channel installed. Thanks
The thing is you can't load stuff from your USB drive to your Wii! You need an SD card. The USB ports in the back are just for a keyboard for the internet or a microphone for Rock Band.
Did you install cIOS222. Thats what I had to do to get the usb thingy to work.
Use the following links for some of the easiest and most complete instructions on how to get a USB loader working on your Wii. I also strongly suggest updating your Wii to 4.3 through Nintendo AFTER you have the latest Hombrew Channel version 1.0.8 installed (but before you do anything else). And remember, you are only legally allowed to play games from an external hard drive if you actually own those games. Good luck!
