Question:

Will a magnaflow exhaust system pass inspection?

I am considering to buy a magnaflow performance exhaust system for my 2000 honda civic, but I have heard some people say that it will not pass inspection. Please let me know if i buy it and install it, it will pass inspection? Thanks for your comments.

Answer:

I agree with all the other comments but make sure that your brakes work okay before you drive to Monro Muffler I dont want you to get into an accident.while driving there. Good luck
They did not change yoru BRAKE FLUID, and the old stuff is seep[ing past the saeals int hemaster cylidner. ALL brake fluid spoils after 2-3 years of use, bets DARK BROWN and is no good any mroe. It MSUT be REPLACED with genuine FACTORY ONLY FLUIDS GOod luck!!
the respond on your question interior reason elementary, yet there are 2 a danger solutions. in case you want your automobile to be quieter, bypass with the inventory device. that's what GM designed it to do. once you're finding for extra ability, bypass with the magnaflow. The magnaflow replaced into designed to enhance ability, with the area-effect of generating extra noise. I easily have heard human beings communicate approximately gaining 20hp from not something extra beneficial than a cat-returned exhaust like this. needless to say, in case you advance in basic terms one area of the device you will see in basic terms somewhat benefit. in case you advance ALL aspects of the device, you will see great features. With a musclecar like this, the exhaust mod you reported right here is in basic terms the initiating. be careful: musclecars are addictive!
Yes, it will pass as long as you don't mess with your Catalytic Converter. However, I would recommend installing a DynoMax Ultraflo system, they flow much better (over 45% more in bench testing) than any Magnaflow or P.O.S. Flowmaster.
as long as you still keep the catalytic converter you'll be fine, all they look for int eh exhaust that i know of is if it has a muffler and cat, some older cars didn't come with a cat like a muscle car so those wouldn't need one, if it didn't come with one it doesn't need one, so as long as you keep the cat on and a muffler you'll be fine
