Question:

will bench presses with 5 kg dumbells stunt your growth?

im 15 5'4 and i want to get more stronger will bench presses with 5 kg dumbells stunt your growth

Answer:

No. doing those exercises will not stunt ur growth. it will only stunt ur growth when doing heavy weights that are going to compress your spine, such as 100+ kgs on a backsquat. bicep and tricep exercises are fine.
If you injure your growth plates with those 5kg dumbbells, then yes. If you bench press 100kg without and injure your growth plates, then yes. Yes, you will stunt your growth. If you use those 5kg dumbbells and don't injure your growth plates, then no. If bench press 100kg and don't injure your growth plates, then no. No, you won't stunt your growth. - Do you understand my point? there is no way in hell you can stop growing with exercise alone. Genetics, or injuring your growth plates by dropping a heavy weight on you, is the only thing which can make you stop growing.
Well if your weak and can only bench that much, then why would it stunt your growth? If you can bench more, then bench more. working out wouldnt stunt growth but make you stronger
5kg isn't very heavy, if you feel it is heavy and if you are pushing yourself too much it could stunt your growth considering you are 5 ft 4 i suggest use the dumbells but just nknow your limits
that will actually not really do anything for you, 5 kg is hardly anything so you would be fine, but if you want to get bigger, you probably want to go up to around 10-15 kg, depends on how much you are growing now or if you have stopped. Yes, know your limit
