I want to try one, but I am worried that it will ruin the tire. Just one cant hurt can it?
Simple. Wait until you are ready to replace your tire -- then BURN 'til it BLOWS!!
This issue has been covered extensively on this board, but I will give you a little known fact tat is conveniently forgotten by those that find it irresistible; Inconsistent wear pattern: when you do a burn out that sets in motion a certain wear pattern that may or may not work out well for the tire. (it certainly wears alot of rubber in a short amount of time) -and causes premature failure And when the tire stars wearing unevenly, or starts getting cupped or uneven wear, well, that just leads to an ever increasing balance problem for the tire and results in bike instability. -Not very good news to dad when he has to buy you another tire a year ahead of time.
