Question:

will my cold air intake fit?

I have a Cold Air Intake for my 2000 honda civic. But got rid of it and now i have a 03 mustang and I was wondering if my cold air intake would fit it? I‘m just a girl so I don‘t really know that much about cars. I just know I want my cold air intake in my mustang.

Answer:

Probably not because the honda and ford engines are very different. Plus the year models aren't the same. Most likely it won't though
the cooler the air is the better it will run
no buy a k+n air filter for it and be done
the different respondent is genuine. The GM air flows into the drivers part of the throttle physique, jointly as the Mustang flows into the front of the physique. I easily have an common ( low-value ) gadget on my '02 GM that i got here upon on OKorder; replaced into in ordinary terms $60 or $70 + freight, and it has a cone filter out. okN additionally has one on OKorder, besides the shown fact that this is like $2 hundred. in case you e mail me, i'm going to look-up the OKorder employer I have been given mine from
Every car ever made had and has a cold air intake that came on it from the factory. A cold air intake is a place where cold air is taken into the engine - just like your nose when you breath in. The intake that was put on your car at the factory was designed, engineered, manufactured, assembled, tested and installed by a whole bunch of engineers and techs who wanted an optimum operating temperature for your engine, the most power out possible and the best mpg If you stick on something else called a cold air intake, you are messing with what they have already done. It will screw up sensors, throw check engine lights on, lower engine temp, make the engine run rougher and use extra gas. Colder is NOT better. And there is no way more air can increase the rate of fuel/air intake anyway. The idea about girls and cars is to learn so you know more than the guys. Most of them don't know anything. Think of the fun you can have asking them to explain things - when you already know the right answer. So change your last sentence around and sayI'm a girl and I want to know more about cars. I just DONT know if I want to put an add-on cold air intake on my car.
