Infantry training and skill are not very different for any modern westernised counties really, drills like fire and manoeuvre, suppressive fire, insertions and extraction drills, flanking drills,controlled withdrawals etc etc Obviously in real life encounters there are no specific general rules as such, how about the enemy is using blanket fire to intentionally keep you in cover as another of their fire-teams flank you or come round the rear? You are giving covering fire and encounter a blockage ? Lots of different methods so Most Infantry field drills are taught around many situations. Aside from money, tech or weapons our Infantry soldiers are not so much better than any other modern day countries at basic level
