Hi, I have a sofa with the following dimensions 88 w x 38 d x 37 h . Will it fit through a 36 door (3 ft).Check out the picture below. Not sure if I can unscrew the legs.
I can pretty much guarentee any sofa built will fit thru a 36 wide door; otherwise, no one would be able to buy them because they couldn't get them in the house.. If it is a fully upholstered sofa, the feet probably come off. Anyway, tilting the sofa forward (as in towards the front of the sofa, not towards the guy in the lead) as you go thru the door should get you the space you need. good luck. Yes you can. My sofa is a little larger then that and we were able to do it by putting it on an angle.
Take it through the door diagonally by tilting it 45 degrees creating the narrowest profile.
sofas vary in size so you would have do all the measurements of the sofa and door. and sometimes you can just manipulate the sofa and make it fit. if you really have trouble i would suggest taking of the door frames and then you wouldn't of to much trouble.
