Answer:

Sound Insulation For Interior Walls
It's always a good idea to have a blanket just in caseI only blanket my horse when it gets really cold, because they do have a lot of hairBut, if the temperature is really cold, then yes put a blanket on herIf you don't it is okay, remember there are wild horses, who live in the frigid temperaturesHope this is helpful!
It really depends on the horseMost finer horses (like Arabs) probably do need a blanket, depending on how cold it gets, and older horses or hard keepers need them tooBut then, a lot of ponies and horses will grow really thick coats and they'll be fineI have a 25 year old mare, and her coat is at least 1/2 inch thick, or longerBut it really depends on the horse.
If she grows a nice thick winter coat and has no known circulatory problems or anything like that she'll probably be better off without the blanketHorses are better equipped to deal with cold weather than we arePlus blanketing her with eleven other horses will probably result in you having a trashed blanket to fix all the time.
If that is the only blanket you have and you dont have a stall to put her in I would save it for just the super cold daysOtherwise she will have a shorter coat and wont be prepared to keep herself warm when the temperatures do drop severelyWhen you do blanket her be sure and check all the straps every day and make sure it is securely on herI have seen horses come out of a fully buckled blankets more than oncesometimes they get all the way out sometimes they get them hung up around their neck or bellyIf you discover she doesnt keep her blanket on or the other horses are trying to pull it off her you may just want to forgo it all together.
