Question:

Windows 2000 Professional Connectors?

I am trying to find an appropriate connector for a Windows 2000 Professional PC. I looked at the back of the CPU but cannot tell, which one of these could be used: a DVI, SVGA, Component, S - Video, Composite.

Answer:

ok okorder
Almost certainly a VGA connection. Unless there is some compelling reason to have had it built with something of very high quality like doing high end graphics or video production work, in the Windows 2000 Pro days, VGA was THE connection for video. It would look like a serial port only with 15 holes in it for the pins in the connector on the monitor cable. SVGA uses the same connector as i recall.
