Question:

Windshield wiper fluid on 2006 mitsubishi galant?

So, my windsheild wiper fluid is not dispensing. There is no sound when I pull the lever. No fluid nothing! And I can‘t figure out if its a fuse or if its just the motor. I even looked at the instruction booklet to see where the fuse for that is, and there is no indication.Just has a fuse for the windshield wiper themselves. Is the windshield wiper fuse associated with the fluid dispenser? Meaning the same fuse? The fuse for this is located in the fuse box by the motorThe weather here has been in the single digits but this feature should be working when the car is warmed up!Also, where are the fluid cables located?Really need this resolved, it is hard to drive with that muck film blocking my view.Any suggestions?

Answer:

I had an identical difficulty ensue to me final 365 days. in simple terms upload somewhat rubbing alcohol to the tank, and then upload the winterized fluid, all would desire to be fantastic. the only difficulty is that that's in all probability frozen in the tubes besides, yet all u desire is an afternoon above 32 and which will thaw
It's possible the nozzles are frozen if it's very cold. You could try running the car through a hot car wash and see if they start to work. It's much more likely that you simply have a bad motor than a blown fuse, though there should be a fuse for it. The windshield wiper fuse has nothing to do with it. The hoses are hidden under the cowl cover. .
