Question:

Windshield wiper fluid smell when I spray it?

I drive a 2012 mazda3. I smell the windshield wiper fluid within 2 seconds of spraying it. What might be causing this and how can I fix it? tia :)

Answer:

The excess washer fluid is running down the windshield and the odor is from it being sucked into the fresh air intake.
Electric motor whopping great battery/s and a gigantic alternator. And, don't run the batteries flat as you'll never be able to push it back home.
In Durarara!!, Celty's motorcycle is actually her horse in disguise. I think it neighs at times, but it's not actually a motorcycle so it doesn't make motorcycle noises.
LANAB nailed it. It's normal and there's nothing to fix. The air entering your car comes in through the grilled openings at the base of the windshield, and fluid also drips down in there. Not to worry though, there is a drain that allows rain or any other fluids to drain out of that area.
Cabin air vents are usually close to the bottom of the windshield. So the used fluid is going to be draining past them. Maybe find some more pleasant smelling washer fluid?
