So, I was in such a rush to fix my windshield wiper motor that I started taking things apart, including the bracket that holds the front rod to the motor. I forgot to check to see if it was in park position, ie., aligned with the arrow. When I put it back together with the new rod do I have to do anything special to make sure that everything is aligned? The bracket that holds the front rod (rod A) spins 360 degrees when attached, so I don‘t see what the big deal is, but some forums claim it is important.
