Question:

Windshield wiper replacement problem?

Someone ripped off my windshield wiper and the arm part is broken, not the wiper that comes off when it needs to be replaced, but what the wiper attaches to. Anyway, can it be fixed, if so how? I have an ‘08 Nissan Altima.

Answer:

Since your car is a 2008, you will end up going to the dealer for your wiper arm, It secured by a nut. I hope you have better luck in the future!
Get some Vacuum line from the interior sight areas keep and splice it as against the broken tubing. might ought to apply a pair of small hose clamps to get an honest seal even with the undeniable fact that it works superb, executed it many cases. Theres not a very good style of stress on those lines so which you would be able to rig up merely approximately something and it will carry. Even used fish aquarium tubing as quickly as .
its not really a big deal but the dealers charge a lot. so see if you can get the part maybe from a junk yard, because it will be much cheaper and if you don't know how to install it any small shop will do it for u for much less than the dealer. it might be hard to find the part in a junk yard since it is an 08 but see if older models fit sometimes it is the same for many years. i hop this helps
