I JUST HAD A NEW WINDSHIELD PUT IN MY CHEVY S-10 AND NOW FOR SOME REASON MY WIPERS ARE GOING DOWN TO LOW AND HITS THE VERY TOP OF THE HOOD , YOU KNOW THE PART BY THE END OF THE WINDSHIELD , HOW DO I STOP IT FROM GOING DOWN TO LOW ?
It sounds like they put the wrong sized wipers on your S-10. Maybe they are too long for your truck.
They were reinstalled in the wrong position. Make sure the wipers are 'parked' and remove them. Then reinstall them on the stem just a little higher on the windshield. Or, you can tell the company that installed the windshield to correct the problem.
sounds like they bent your wiper arms, get new arms or you could adjust them by removing them, they have a spline on the wiper shafts and you can relocate the arms a couple splines up.
