Question:

Winter room temperature for a 4month old kitten at night?

We just adopted a 4month old DSH tabby kitten, and he likes sleeping under the coffee table on the rug in the living roomIts currently winter and the temperature outside goes down to 4 degrees celius each nite, about 10 degrees n the houseJust wondering if its safe for him to sleep there, he refuses to sleep anywhere else.

Answer:

yeah i'd climb out my window onto the branch of an old willow tree (its pretty strong) then climb down one storyit wouldn't be that badbut i might be scared if there really was a fireGod forbid anyone answering this question ever lands in that position!
Hahah I would have to jump 2 stories into a bunch of trees, but I'd much rather break some bones than burn.
Yes.There's a veranda roof right outside one of the windows, less than 10 feet to the ground.I'd be fine.
hahaha the aluminum foil part made me laugh but i probably couldI'd have to take out the screen part of my window and then jump 2 stories, but there's nothing in my wayMy room faces the backyard, not the front
Congrats on your new precious kittenWell I think he may get cold so you could buy him a medium fluffy, soft cat bed and put warmish hot water into 2 water plastic water bottles and wrap them is a hand towel and put them in his cat bed at night to keep warmMy cats have a cat bed and when they sleep in it their body heat warms the bed so they get pretty warmSo he will be fine with a cat bed and the water bottlesHope this helped, KateP.SYou could put a blanket in the bed for him to and if you don't have a heating system try and buy a room heaterAnd maybe you could try and get him to sleep with you.
