hi i have a 1998 grand prix im gonna install wire harness i got from junkyard due to many broken and melted together wires anyway i have the other one but some wires are cut everything is color coated so its easy but there are to black wires idk what they go to or if it matters if i just connect them 1998 grand prix 3.8 non supercharged
Lay out the new/used harness next to/on top of the old one and do one connector at a time. I sure hope you didn't remove the other harness before you got the new one. Auto tech 101 get new parts first!!!
black is generally a ground wire, depending on your vehicles configuration
