I dont understand Round Trip ?.Do you mean your garage is 100 feet away ? it really depends on the amps you require go with a 50 -60 amp sub panel and run THWN 8.
If this is all on your property,I would rent a trench digger for a few hours and ran direct burial cable 10-2 with ground on a 30 amp breaker.That should take care of anything you would run in a tree house.
