I have a regular battery pack and when I put new batteries in it, it won turn on I've tried different controllers but same thing. Please help!

Either the fret stockisn't receving power or the u-breta has lost the link to the power drain sorry for my bad grammar.
Could you have put the batteries in the wrong way? Did you ensure that the battery pack clicked into the controller? Are the controllers synced? Maybe you need to buy a new battery pack (around $15)
