I will offer you some general advice. The biggest issue seems to be that you don't like the teacher, but I can tell you that this will happen again as long as you remain in education and you cannot drop out every time this happens, it is part of life that we don't like everyone we encounter and you just have to make the best of these situations. Second you find biology difficult. It comes as a shock to everyone when all of a sudden they don't find everything easy and sooner or later we have to learn to work harder at those things. It is like climbing a mountain, you struggle until you reach the top. Again, if you just opt for something easier every time this happens you will make no progress. When you talk about getting help, it sounds as though you may be taking the help and then not thinking things through thoroughly for yourself before answering. There are many things you could do to improve the situation, you could go to a library or bookshop and find a book that makes sense to you. You should also speak to your teacher and explain how you feel that you are struggling and see if she has any suggestions - you might be pleasantly surprised. Also, for the time being you should prioritise the difficult subject ahead of those you find easy. You know that if you drop out, you will close certain doors to the future. If you are absolutely sure that you don't want a future with any science then general science will provide you with the school basics, but the choice is then made. If you have any ambitions such as medicine in which biology is a must then you will have to persevere.
I think you folks are missing the point of this question. She is implying that they are not putting their trust in God. If they fully trusted, then the building wouldnt need a lightning rod.
