Question:

Yokohama tire problems?

Has anyone had any problems with Yokohama tires?

Answer:

either have the seller deduct cost of removal from house or remove yourself. wear a mask to be safe and you can put it out with the trash just be smart about it
First, have it tested to find out AND have someone who knows what they are doing interpret the test results. Second, it's probably more dangerous to remove it than to leave it in place, maybe cover it with a layer of cellulose to reduce exposure. Third, hire an abatement company, it's the only safe way to do it, unless you experienced with this type of thing, not to mention you can't just put it out with the trash if it has asbestos in it
Until they stopped making it in the size I need i used only Yokohama's (Parada Spec-2) on my car and i never had any issues, in fact i'd have to say those were the best tires ive tried on a vehicle to date. That said my new car i bought came with the normal Touring brand from Yokohama and i have to say i am hating these tires. No real issues other then too much wheel spin. just i want tires with more grip and better traction.
Yes I just scraped a set of Yokohama TRZ 205-65-15's off my Mercury sable. The wear was my fault as I had changed two outer tie-rod ends. I thought I was being careful but I ate up the right front tire. I was too lazy to align my own car. It had severe degrees of toe out. That wasn't Yoko's fault. I bi*ched from day one that both front tires had a lateral run-out problem. I had them balanced on the beast machine out there, a Hunter GSP 9700 Road Force wheel / tire balancer. I replaced the tires with exactly the same thing. The new tires had no run-out.
A Yokohama tire disintegrated on my parents' minivan. Yokohama refused to accept any responsibility and would not even replace the tire, much less pay for repairs to the van. My parents could have been killed, but Yokohama doesn't care. I would stay away.
