Question:

13 year-old sleepover crafts and games?

I'm turning thirteen this coming weekend, and I am having a sleepover with four or five of my friendsI need some craft ideas and maybe some game ideas because all I have right now is a bunch of board games and a gamecube with four gamesThat gets boring after a while:( Help me please!

Answer:

You could make a coaster The ball should be about the size of three of your fists to make a nice one.
You could make a small scarf with itCast on enough stitches to make the length of scarf you want (36?) and knit until either the yarn runs out or it's as wide as you want itOTOH, you could knit a swatch first, and compare the weight of the swatch to the weight of the entire amt of yarnThat will give you the ratio of square inches of the swatch to the square inches of whatever your finished object's size can be.
The clothing store sweater is made on a knitting machine and then cut into the pattern it will be made intoIf you have an old swearer and you try to take it apart to use the material you will find the thread is only the length of the width of the sweaterThe yarn they usually use is called sports yarn and is 3 ply as opposed to what I would use and is 4 plyThe yarn should not be fuzzy unless you are getting an off brandand the tightness is how much pull is used when making the sweaterTry using the more popular brands.
Well if your parents are willing, go to your local hobby store and get flip flops, sun visors, and t-shirts and some craft paint and fabric markers and puff balls and just a bag of different odds and ends and craft your items for the summer coming upMy daughter has had craft sleep overs and then at the end we have 2 movies and lots of popcorn and fruity non adult drinks for fun Hope this helps.
