I changed the front and side motor mounts on my 2000 Accord V6 LX a few weeks ago, but when I put the engine down (had a jack underneath to lift the motor from the frame) and bolted it all back together the AC was not blowing cold. The compressor engages, the same idle changes (rpm level) occurs when I hit the AC button, but no cold air comes from the vents. No big deal in March living in DC, but come summer this is going to be a major problem. I checked all the system fuses, all ok. I dont see any changes in the freon pipes, no bends from lifting the motor, nothing out of the ordinary. Please help me figure this one out.
Did you visually see the engagement or are you going by idle changes. The wire may have gotten pulled off the compressor or broke when lifting with the jack.If it worked before it should work now if nothing was disturbed.
sure. regrettably you do, yet barely adequate to feed the belt through. carry the engine up and be careful the place you develop it up at. Can injury the oil pan. it is solid aluminum.
go get tested for leaks and new r 12..
