When I turn on the AC/heater/vent fan, it runs, but is very loud and there is very little air coming from the vents. What is the problem?
the bushings in the blower motor are worn out,and there's no repairing them ,just replace the whole motor on it,advance now has them that come with a life time warranty on them,it will eventually start blowing fuses and you,ll start smelling a burnt smell coming from the vents on it,good luck.
The avert, they could placed out an excellent style of torque for all of your towing desires. Ford does no longer have the 7.3 Powerstroke anymore, even at the same time as they did the 5.9 avert Cummins replaced into putting out a lot more beneficial HP then the 7.3 Powerstroke replaced into on the inventory specs. As for Ford, considering the fact that they did away with the 7.3 Powerstroke and went to that 6.0 diesel, they have been having no longer some thing yet problems with them. i understand a few people which have them and they are waiting to get rid of them because of each and each of the failings they have been having with this new engine. they are not on my own, an excellent style of the more recent Ford Ambulances actually have this new 6.0L diesel and there are a mode of unhappy people which have those too that i understand of and are waiting to ascertain some thing else to interchange them with.
My Dodge Ram did the same thing remove the fan motor 3 screws passengers side under dash remove ele plug mine had foam inside it from the door that closes to divert the air. check and see if the door is broke or jammed with the motor out.
Busted blower motor. I've changed one that did the exact same thing before. That loud sound is the motor spinning on a very rough axis. It will become very obvious when u remove the old motor. The motor will not run for much longer, but why would you? That sound is awful and produces almost no air.
