I recently bought a 2006 Ford F-250 Super Duty with LED tail lights. A load equilizer needs to be installed to eliminate the fast blinking. My understanding is that the load equalizer gets installed on the ground wire that is coming out from the LED bulb, is that correct? What color is the ground wire so I make sure that I have the correct wire? Thanks for the help!
if you go to the dealer, they have a special flasher relay to fix that. its behind the dash towards the middle near the radio, kind of a pain to get to but its not too bad to do and you won't have to cut into the factory wiring
That doesn't make any sense. You'd have to draw more current to make the old flasher work right and there's no way you can do that by hooking to a ground wire. It would have to go between the hot wires to the lights and ground. Just get the right flasher for the LEDs.
