I bought a pair of after market tail lights from eBay for my 07 Eclipse GS. The tail lights were a perfect fit but I only had problems connecting the LED wire connection from the after market tail light to the LED connection on the eclipse. It just didn't fit so I cut both connection and wired them wire to wire. LED light worked just fine but my break light didn't work. The LED is pretty bright as if I was pushing the the break but I'm not, I push the break and the break light won't turn on just the tail light . Can someone help me figure out this problem I would really appreciate it.
Well, he's right. You wired them backwards. If it doesn't fit, something is wrong, don't force it. Well, that's how it is with factory parts. Not too sure about cheap aftermarket ****.
Your main issue will not be that the coverage corporation will not insure you, it's that you're unwilling to pay for it. I would endorse that you just store round for specific rates in the hope of discovering an insurance top class that you may reside with. An independant insurer could present a better fee. The real concern is that you are a 16yr ancient inexperienced driver, with a brand new, high priced, high efficiency vehicle. Coverage is going to be highly-priced for you as long as you might be below the age of 25. This is on account that statistically speakme, the sixteen-25 age group has the absolute best number of claims. Personally, i might advise getting a decrease performance vehicle for a primary vehicle. That method you would have some distance extra spendable cash to spend on it in the end.
On your EBay tail lights, you wired the brake and tail lights backwards. The LED is pretty bright as if I was pushing the the break but I'm not = the brake lights are wired to the tail light circuit. I push the break and the break light won't turn on just the tail light = the tail lights are wired to the brake light circuit.
