Question:

303 stainless steel bars for medical products?

303 stainless steel bars for medical products?

Answer:

420- type "cutting class" martensitic steel, similar to Brandt's first high chromium stainless steel this. Also used in surgical knives, which can be made very bright.
Model 316-, following 304, has second of the most widely used steel grades, mainly used in the food industry and surgical equipment, adding molybdenum to obtain a corrosion resistant special structure. Because of its better resistance to chloride corrosion than 304, it is also used as "ship steel". SS316 is usually used in nuclear fuel recovery devices. Grade 18/10 stainless steel usually meets this application level.
Model 304- universal model, i.e. 18/8 stainless steel. GB is 0Cr18Ni9.
Model 301- has good ductility and is used for molding products. It can also be hardened rapidly by mechanical processing. Good weldability. The abrasion resistance and fatigue strength are better than 304 stainless steel.Model 302- 304 with corrosion resistance, due to the relatively high carbon intensity.
