hey i might have a 4.0l ranger engine to drop in to my 3.0l ranger. mines a 99 with a 5spd manuel. and what i want to know is, can i bolt up a 4.0l with the 3.0l wirring harness? and the new motor is from a 97 ranger. thanks guys
No. Even if the wiring harness was the same, which isn't too likely, your ECM is calibrated for the 3.0L.
