is it safe to drive with a missing lug nut?i have 4 of 5 lug nuts on my jeep. I got the tires changed today, and one of the studs were cross threaded so they had to break it off. They told me that the veichle will be safe to drive, until i get it replaced. Is that true?
LOL Same thing happens to me every year when I finally turn my heater on. It's normal, it's just the heating coils or whatever burning off dust and junk that's collected on them all summer long. I live in Dallas, so that's a LONG summer. I FREAKED the first time it happened to me, when I had my very first apartment. Just turn it on and let it go..it will not do that more than once. And it won't catch fire either. You know how an electric stove eye that hasn't been used in awhile smokes and stinks when you finally turn it on? It's the same thing, and unless there a big chunk of something on it, it won't catch fire. Likely no big chunks of anything inside your heater.
On Windows there's no real way to develop iOS applications. You have to have a Mac running OS X and use Xcode (Apple's development environment). Anyone that gives you links to Windows software is scamming you since no such tool set exists for iOS development on Windows.
Yeah they sure are annoying sometimes. The trouble is, they cause alarm.
