I have a 1995 GMC Safari. The AC works intermittently and I think it is the blower resistor for the motor. Today it was working, but there was steam or smoke coming out of the vents. Could this be the blower motor going bad, or part of the resistor problem?
Mitchell OnDemand tells me: Disconnect unfavorable battery cable. eliminate bigger device panel conceal. Unclip air flow duct. Unclip and eliminate blower motor conceal. eliminate blower motor screws, disconnect electric connectors. yet, it additionally says the hard artwork time is 7.8 hours, so this isn't a exciting pastime. Sorry bud.
It's more likely the blower motor it might be causing your resistor pack to over heat and ruin it to. the blower is under the hood I think with the resistor pack close by. If you got my first reply I'm sorry I miss read your vehicle and thought you had a Sierra pickup.
