Advantages and disadvantages of ductile iron pipes?
Nodular cast iron has high strength and strong plasticity. The tensile strength of ductile iron is twice that of gray iron, and the yield strength even exceeds that of cast steel. So, the ball compressive strength of ductile iron pipe is much higher than that of cast iron pipes, buried in the ground, the car is not easy to be crushed.
Ductile iron pipes are commonly made of flexible sealing rings and slip through connections. The main mechanisms are W and B, clamps and mechanical connections, and inner gaskets.
Ductile iron pipes are widely used for municipal water supply and drainage, rural drinking water and outdoor fire fighting works; mechanisms; cast iron pipes; main use; municipal high water drainage.
The ductile iron pipe has a single length of 6 meters and a large wall thickness. The cast iron tube has a single branch length of 3 meters and a thinner wall thickness.
Ductile iron pipes are mainly heated and annealed by intermediate frequency furnace, and then made as lining cement. The cast iron pipe is not made of lining cement.
