Well this would take a process of 2 daysCause you don't want to rush everything and make a mess of your bathroomWell for the first job, you seem to know how to dye itGreatAfter you dyed the whole head, and dried the hair - leave the rest for the next dayNext day, so your trying to put lowlights? What you will need is gloves and aluminum foilAluminum foil is used to wrap the highlighted hair in so that the color does not saturate onto the rest of the un-dyed hair and the initially keep the hair in placeWhat you want to do is wrap the bottom part of your friend's hair into a few sectionsIt doesn't matter how manyYou just want to get the bottom half of her hair out of the way as it's the top that people will mostly see After you get the bottom all tied up, take some hair (from the top and the one you want to dye) and apply the black dye to itLeave space between each one you do! Keeping doing this to each little section of the hairYou don't want it to be so big thoughChunky highlights are not the buisinessThen, after you got done with the top, unwrap one section of the bottom part of the hair that you first wrapped and start doing the same to thatFor the bottom sections of the hair, you don't have to apply so much highlights to itBecause people won't really see the bottomBut it's nice to put it in anyway just to be sure.
