Advice on Grand Cayon tour pleasePrice, Package, Company, etc?
My pediatrician and the baby book I have at home say to keep the temp between 68-72 for at least the first 6 months.
Books say between 68-72 but that always feels really cold to me, plus I don't really have any control over the temperature in my daughter's room (we live in an apartment and the people downstairs control the AC)Her room gets up to between 75-78ish and then we have window AC units and ceiling fans to help keep it that wayAs far as sleeping I throw her in a onesie and swaddle her for the night.
78 would be too warm for my likingI usually like 75 degrees or a bit belowMy baby's room is usually the warmest in the houseWe open a window and put in a fan if she can't sleepShe's also 7 months oldYour baby probably can't regulate her body temperature yet and needs the help of clothingI say if it's very warm, you can get away with a t shirt, diaper, and a light blanketI usually have my baby sleep in a diaper and a receiving blanket ontopShe sleeps like a dream! Just don't make your baby too coldI wouldn't worry too much about the heatYour daughter is used to being inside where it's hot! Just keep her hydrated with formula/ breast milk and don't take her out in the 100 degree heat without shadeGood luck!
The ideal temperature range is 68-72 degreesHigher temps (like 78!!!) have been linked to SIDS, so you should lower itIf not to 72 then at least 74 or soShe should sleep in footies or something similarIf you're using a swaddle, check her temp in it with pjs on (i.eif she sweats) - you might need to swaddle her only in a diaper.
