Question:

Aftermarket air intake for a 2003 Grand Caravan grocery getters.?

I have (and have had) Jeep Wranglers, that we've put aftermarket quot;cone-typequot; air filters on, to make them run betterNow I have a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport (fuel injected) and I want to improve the performance and fuel economy with a similar set upDoes anyone have specific suggestions? I've searched JC Whitney and others, but not knowing what would cross-match with it, I haven't found anything worthwhileDoes anyone make aftermarket performance gear for quot;grocery gettersquot;?

Answer:

insulate the floor and the wall that's shared with the rest of the bsmt
like said go to a auto parts store and get a cotton filtersome places also sell plastic or aluminum tubing so you can rig up your own cold air intakethe best mod you can do is put in a flowmaster exhaust (a more quiet one ofcourse) to reduce restriction, you can see upto 20hp for only around $150 and 3-5 with a cotton filter that will cost you $50 or $100 with cold air tubingcaravans are a little cramped under the hood, so if you do rig up a cold air intake, make sure your getting ventalation.
