I have an aftermarket radio that I previously had installed in my old car, that I want to put in my new car. (2004 dodge stratus). The stratus came with an mtx subwoofer and amp already installed from the other owner. The car has the factory radio currently installed. I was wondering if I can use a wiring harness for the after market stereo so I don't have to splice or cut any wires with that subwoofer already hooked up or if I'll need something else. Thank you.
If everything is factory and the PO didn't hack your wires up, you shouldn't have to. Ether way, we are talking about one wire here compared to the rest of the harness. Why sweat it?
