i hav 2 red eared sliders .i keep them in pond of about 20 gallon.i change water once in a week.but its getting very difficult to clean water and substrate because of green algae. it gets allover faster because of sunlight.n not at all easy to clean. you know it.!! i have tried using algae eater fishes but it is not that effective.I READ ABT USING COPPER OR BRASS BARS OR THINGS IN TANK TO PREVENT GROWTH OF ALGAEit says,copper ions prevent algae from excessive growth.is it okay to use copper plate or bar in turtle tank ?plz discuss.thanx : )
