Question:

Aluminium foil melted - is the microwave safe to use now?

I've just done something very stupid - covered a plate with a sheet of aluminium foil and put it into a microwaveThe corners of the sheet touched the walls, causing a couple of sparks and leaving small gray stains on the walls (which are impossible to remove)Is the microwave safe to use now? It still seems to work, but I am worried :-)

Answer:

If you've removed most of the foil, yes, it's fineYou'll know as soon as you try it as if there is any foil left, it will spark againIf you don't get any sparks, the foil is gone and the microwave is safe to useAl
