why they don‘t use aluminium pipes instead of copper pipes in solar water panels?aluminium pipes are more cheaper than copper so why don‘t use them?thank
Corrosion, strength, warping. AL does CU does not.
Consider looking for a used, or reconditioned one. You should be able to get a much better tool for the same amount of money. Reconditioned tools should have the same warranties as the new tools, and cost a bit less. If you shop around a bit, you should be able to get a screamin' deal on a used drill press that outperforms the ones that you are looking at.
Aluminum pipes will react (corrode) with water running through them. Copper doesn't do this.
The same reason they do not use steel pipes, corrosion. You would use up about 10 sets of aluminum or steel pipes in your system and copper would still be going strong.
