What is the going rate for Aluminum cans now? I have been saving them up to turn in some day. Also does it make a difference if you crush them or turn them in whole?? Thanks!

If you live in a state that has a $0.05 deposit then they are worth $0.05 each. If you are taking them to a scrap yard they are worth about $0.015 each. A scrap yard does it by weight. If you are returning for a deposit you can't crush them. If you are taking them to a scrap yard you can crush them.
Not sure what they are worth but the Penny Saver usually has a coupon to get more money for them.
ya aluminium can be recycled, and well i found empty aluminium cans in walmart,, cheap stuff, cant say its quality and its purity..cuz i havent used it..but ya if u preserve it for future then it might help you and ya if you crush it or even destry it in pieces, dosent matter cuz ,the big aluminium factories take all this aluminium and heat them up until it gets melted and then they reshapes it and thats how it is reused and so i guess it dosent matter if you crash them cuz they are going to get melted anyways in future if you recycle them..and ya there are some appropriate courses in university or some that kinda institution where they actually make you to do this.,,u will learn more in detail about this there.. i hope it might helped
