Seems hardly anyone uses them anymore, what is your reasoning behind it? I know they're heavier than graphite but unless you are sponsored by a stick company or have lots of money, it's not cheap to replace 200+ dollar sticks, at the rate they break!I feel sorry for the parents whose kid seems to think it's the only way he can become a descent player.Bonus question: Who do you regard as the best Native / Indigenous / First Nations player in NHL history? My vote goes to Reggie Leach; among Metis probably Bryan Trottier or Theoren Fleury.
1) You cannot drive or be driven around- the Shabbos laws are very clear that you cannot even have your animals work on the shabbos, so you cannot ask a non-Jew to do something for you that is forbidden for you to do(there are some exceptions to this- but they are related to health and other essential issues) 2) In regards to lights, you can either leave the lights on in specific areas for the whole of shabbos, or utilise time switches to do it for you (you cannot get a person to act for you but ther eis nothing wrong with an automated device- as long as you take no action on the Shabbos yourself.) The issue with lights is that they cannot change state from you direct action- that is be turned on (akin to lighting a fire) or turned off (like extinguishing a fire)Note: ALl this is in regards to the Halachah- the jewish law, which is only fully followed by Orthodox Jews.
nicer and all, but i use wood im not rich and they break easily but i would LOVE to have one really bq: id definately say reggie leach
Times have changedJewish people should sacrifice a calf on yom kippur for their sins but the first temple that david built was destroyed so they don't do that anymoreNow a days, technology is a mustThat's why there's a reform sect of JudaismThe orthadox definitely don't drive and they only leave on one light during shabbat after dinner is eatenOh yeah, btwJewish people go by sunsetFriday night, sun goes down, shabbat beginsSaturday night, sun goes down, it endsHope this helped.
their are technologies just for Sabbath it is called Sabbath watch and it lights the lights automaticly on a fixed timeall of this is really stupid, that why i am not a jew any more and no they can't be driven around
A bit of a generalisation thereThere are reformed Jewish people and there are orthdox Jewish PeopleI know of a family who for Yom Kippur would walk from their house to the Synagogue (now by car that would take around twenty minutes) so you do the maths in how long it would take them to get thereShalom.
