Question:

Aluminum intake after 4 vaccines?

I had this morning a Hepatitis A, B and Tetanus shot. Plus I started the Typhoid vaccine orally. Isn't it too much aluminum (adjuvant) injected inside the body? I've read that it's neurotoxic and that the body barely gets rid of it.FYI I'm a male, 27, healthy.Thanks.

Answer:

If you drank 2 glasses of water you ingested more aluminum there than you did in every vaccine you've ever had.
I don't know what brands you got, but here are the package inserts for all the brands of each of those vaccines (In the United States). Check the Description section of each package insert (usually in Section 11, but sometimes the first page), which lists the aluminum content. All of those vaccines contain aluminum, except the oral typhoid and the tetanus-only vaccine, although that one contains a lot of mercury (25 mcg). Keep in mind that injected and ingested aluminum cannot be compared. Ingested aluminum exists the body through the digestive system. Injected aluminum cannot do that. You haven't received much aluminum at all comparatively speaking. It's the most common metal found in nature. It is present in the water we drink, the air we breathe and the food we eat. For more information: www.chop.edu/export/download/pdfs...
Aluminum-containing adjuvants have been used for more than 70 years in billions of doses of vaccines, and have an excellent safety record (Butler et al., 1969; Edelman, 1980; Jefferson et al., 2004). ...the concentration of aluminum in blood derived from vaccines administered to infants during the first year of life remains well below the minimum risk level established by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (Mitkus et al., 2011). In fact, aluminum adjuvants reduce the prevalence and severity of systemic adverse reactions by binding and slowly releasing molecules thereby reducing toxicity. www.ncbi.nlm.nih /pmc/articles...
