Question:

Am I paranoid because I want smoke detectors?

Right now I don't have smoke detectors or a carbon monoxide detectors. I have been dragging my feet on buying em. Would it really matter though? Don't a lot of people die in house fires anyways even if they have smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors? My main heating power source is gas. Can a carbon monoxide leak happen if it everything is shut off?

Answer:

Starting out my company supplied me with a torch and I made the worst joints and it took me forever. Sometimes I would even burn holes in the tubing before I could get joints apart or to soldier properly. The compressor acts as a huge heat sink compounding that. Also the condensers are steel and harder to soldier. It took me forever screwing with it. You need to get a high heat and pin point it. Heating both sides of the joint is real hard with just a torch. And in a refrigerator you can set things on fire while trying to soldier. Once I got an oxy-acetylene kit with a double tip I started making the best joints in no time with ease. I thought I was never going to learn. I practiced a lot on scrap with the torch. One I got the double tip and the oxy kit I went from clutz to making perfect joints. My experience with it I wouldn't use anything else on refrigeration. I have done okay with plumbing with a torch and mapp gas but that is because the pipe is so much larger, holds heat better, and doesn't need the greater accuracy. You won't regret getting the kit. You might be able to rent or borrow one first and you will see what I mean. Good Luck.
That's a great question. Personally, there's nothing my HP laptop with all it's bells and whistles can do that I can't do on my iPad, which has a much longer battery life and saves documents automatically. Some people like to say, it's basically a big iPhone they're something I like to call Wrong. There is a Huge door opened by having a larger screen and faster processor. I've done the majority of my college assignments on here (using it to type your answer) I have also made music, edited video, and DJ'd events using this thing. Sure there are things that you can do on your phone that are the same or similar, but often you have to ask yourself why would you want to? I still have my iPhone and use it a great deal, but there are plenty of things I (including eBooks) that are significantly better and simply more enjoyable on the iPad.
